Growing up in a military family, I traveled a lot. To no surprise, I have multiple favorite places, but here are my top two!!
Bitburg, Germany:
This is where I was born in 1997, where I lived on the local Air Force base with my family. After sometime, we moved into the village itself where I had many fond memories and experiences. It is one of my favorite places to go back and visit periodically to see all the changes over the years.
Here is a view of the flight line close to our house.
Downtown Bitburg is filled with unique buildings like the Bernkastel, which doubles as a bar.
Paris, France:
In the Summer of 2017 I spent a month studying abroad in the beautiful country of France. I'm a city girl at heart so I immediately fell for the city of love. As I traveled all across France I couldn't stop thinking about returning to Paris one day.
One of my favorite things to do was picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Here's a picture from my point of view!

Oh, both France AND Germany: how wonderful, Maria! There are beautiful storytelling traditions from both places of course, so maybe you will want to choose a French or German topic for your project in this class. :-)
