Feedback Thoughts

The two articles I chose about feedback are A fixed mindset could be holding you back , and Rewire your self-critical brain .  As I read through these articles, I thought about my own views on feedback. I am a performer, so I was lucky enough to learn how to take negative feedback as early as three years old. I think that getting critiques on your work is an extremely important step to bettering yourself and your craft, whatever it my be. I am very independent, so feedback works best for me when I give myself my own feedback and then an outsider reiterates it. Topic Brainstorm

Greek Mythology: Greek mythology is a topic that has always interested me. I learned mostly of this topic in school, but at one point I was so interested, I actually bought my own Greek mythology book and started to read the stories on my own. I look forward to analyzing the stories more in depth as I begin to write my own. I understand that it is a very broad topic, so If I was to pick this one, I would try to choose a theme to follow. Some of the themes I am looking at are fate, heroism, or beauty. If I was to choose the theme of fate, I would like to retell the story of the 3 fates. <ahref="https://www.greekmythology.com/Other_Gods/The_Fates/the_fates.html">TheFates: GreekMythology.com</a> - Aug 29, 2018 Italian Fairy Tales: I am interested in this topic because I come from an Italian background and I like the idea of getting to know my own culture a little bit better. I don’t know much of anything out Italian fairy tales, so there’s a lot to learn.

I see a sharp jaw line and cheekbones, my eyes are narrow, almost ferocious. Nothing like the gentle blue eyes I once had. My body has almost doubled in size forcing me to drape myself in a cloth. What’s next? The sorcerer was a man that was in my father’s army. When my father passed, he demanded that I was not fit to reign as King, to which I banished him from the kingdom. “Have you no compassion?” he screamed at me as he was carried out of the castle. It was then I felt a strange pressure in my body and it felt as if the Earth stopped moving. The sorcerer reappeared and spoke to me. He told me that until I could learn compassion, I would remain as this creature. All alone, I began to refle
